“Marjorie has a well-earned reputation for her excellence in leadership, wide area of knowledge and expertise, and commitment to high-quality work. She is someone I have always been able to rely on to get the job done well, whether it is strategically leading a team to reach its goals or providing technical advice on compliance requirements of U.S. Government contracting.”

“Marjorie can always be relied upon to stick with an issue until a resolution is final. In keeping with her excellent HR skills, she is able to deal with difficult and sensitive HR issues calmly and directly. Marjorie has a well-developed sense of fairness and equity and always advocated strongly for equitable treatment of staff – and often without staff knowing the details of her tenacity. Marjorie also served as a good sounding board if her staff were struggling with how to approach a tough situation even if it wasn’t in her purview.”

Catharine T., Arlington, VA
NGO Vice President

“I learned more and grew more professionally in the five-plus years Marjorie supervised me than in any comparable period in my career. She taught me to think critically, engage with stakeholders, act with decisiveness, and learn from missteps. She always knew when to be direct, when to teach by example, and when to coach her teams to learn on their own. I find myself referring to her advice and wisdom frequently as I now lead and develop staff.  She 'unpacked' problems in a way that allowed for others to see clearly a path forward in times of uncertainty and in an increasingly complex environment."
